Sable came to rescue after his previous owners lost their housing and could no longer provide for him. Since settling in, Sable has really come into his own—he thrives when he has room to run and lets his energy loose in the yard. Treats easily win him over, and he never misses a chance to chase or squeak a toy. Underneath all that drive, Sable is a huge snuggler who always seems ready for the next adventure or nap by your side. While he lived peacefully with a beagle before, Sable is still working on his social skills with other dogs here at the rescue.
