Flopsy arrived at the rescue with his siblings, Mopsy and Cottontail, after being found living outdoors and using landscaping as a makeshift bathroom. Their mom will soon be spayed, while the kittens themselves are already neutered (or scheduled) and litter box trained. Flopsy is still a bit shy about being picked up but is already seeking out people to play with and showing a playful personality. He and his brother Mopsy would love to find a home together and could possibly thrive as inside cats or in a safe barn or building where people spend time. Staff never recommends putting kittens outside full time, as indoor life is much safer for them, especially at night. Flopsy is a young cat who might take a little time to warm up, but once comfortable, he’s proven to be full of character.
