About Peanut

Peanut is a loving, rambunctious 4-month-old mixed working breed who’s always on the move with plenty of pep. This big, playful pup is very trainable and highly food motivated, making him eager to learn new things. Peanut already knows how to sit and lie down and is getting the hang of crate training. On walks, he loves to sniff around and check out his surroundings. As a working breed mix, he’s high drive and thrives when given both structure and adventure—a perfect match for an active home that enjoys time outdoors. Peanut comes with support from a trainer to help him develop into a well-adjusted dog. At the end of his busy days he loves to snuggle up for some quality downtime and never misses a chance to roll over for belly rubs. He’s also quite the kiss-giver. Peanut has met cats and tends to be submissive around them, often ducking away if they’re stern. After a difficult puppyhood experience with his mom, he can be wary with new dogs at first and tends to bark, but with calm introductions and ongoing training, that’s improving—he already enjoys playing with a resident pug. His adoption includes vaccines, microchip, and a scheduled neuter between one and two years old. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
