About Josephine Medium Black
Josephine is sharp and resourceful. When she was found, she had chosen a spot in a drainage pipe near Visalia to keep her puppies safe. After their time at animal services ran out, she came into rescue with her little ones. She weighs around 60 lbs and has a friendly but discerning nature—she warms up to new people in a day or two, preferring to observe before she trusts. With proper introductions, she handles meeting other friendly dogs well. Josephine also keeps a close eye on her home and makes a reliable watchdog. Kellen Rescue places their dogs in foster homes and arranges meetings by appointment, usually requesting fenced yards for adopters. Most adoptions stay within California, with rare exceptions. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
