Josephine is one smart dog. She was found near Visalia in a drainage pipe with her puppies. It was a location the puppies would be safe. She went to Visalia Animal Services but then she and her puppies ran out of time and needed to be rescued. Josephine is 60 lbs and friendly but it takes about a day or two for her to get used to a new person. She is also a good watch dog. She should be fine with most other friendly dogs with introductions first. Kellen Rescue has their dogs at foster homes and are available to be seen by appointment. We typically require fenced areas for the dogs. We do not adopt outside of California with the exception of sometimes considering a neighboring State.
