Better photos to come…Meet Billy. This healthy 5 year old boy was set to be euthanized today. After talking to his owners yesterday, they agreed to surrender him to us. We were made aware that he might have some behavioral issues. We reached out to our fantastic trainer, and he had room for Billy to at least get an assessment. We drove 2 hours to get him there, and our trainer’s initial observation is that he is not aggressive, scared and skittish yes, but not aggressive. He is going to stay with our trainer for a month long board & training to work on some confidence building. We will be updating all that we learn about him while he is in training. So far, we do know he is great with other dogs.outside of the home, but prefers to be your one and only dog. He will do well with older, respectful children.
