Frankie is a large, adult pit bull terrier mix in Long Beach, CA. He is neutered, vaccinated, and house trained. Frankie's coat color isn't specified, but his one-of-a-kind personality shines through. At a little over two years old, he does have a special medical need related to past congenital issues, needing more frequent bathroom breaks and occasional management for minor incontinence. Despite this, Frankie maintains an excellent quality of life and is eager for a loving family to call his own.

About Frankie

Frankie is a one-year-old pit bull terrier with an unforgettable smile and 65 pounds of pure, tail-wagging joy. Too big for your lap but certain he belongs there anyway, Frankie leans in for affection like it’s his daily mission. He greets everyone—kids and adults alike—with the same goofy, loving energy. Around other dogs, Frankie shows off his friendly side, always eager to make new canine pals regardless of their size. He’s crate trained, enjoys walks, and makes the most of treat time, especially if pup cups are involved. Frankie’s gentle, treat-motivated personality pairs well with his playful, snuggly side. While he’s working on his leash skills and still gets excited around birds and bunnies, he’s making steady progress, especially when he trusts the person on the other end of the leash. Not much for posing for the camera, he shines brightest in person with his huge heart. Frankie does have a minor special need due to congenital urinary issues that required surgery in his early life. Now, he just needs extra potty breaks, and sometimes a belly band if he gets really excited. It’s very manageable and doesn’t slow him down. He’s neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Frankie is boarding in Colorado and looking for a Boulder-area or Southern California foster or adopter ready to give him the home he deserves. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
