Dina
AvailableDina is a medium-sized, spayed female Dutch Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix with a medium-length black and white/cream coat. She is currently growing up in Palatka, FL and is house trained. Her vaccinations are up to date. Dina excels at learning new commands, is playful, and does best with other dogs in the home.
About Dina
Dina is growing up surrounded by care and structure, already housetrained and picking up new commands at a good pace. She’s still learning the ropes with a harness on walks, but she’s sharp and motivated—especially if there’s a toy nearby. Plush toys are no match for her, and she’ll keep herself busy chewing or playing tag with her dog friends. She thrives when she’s got another confident dog to play and roughhouse with, and having a fenced yard is absolutely necessary for her energy level. Dina is sometimes a little bossy with other dogs, but she’s quick to defer when another pup holds their ground. She loves following routines and, true to her breeds, she’s a fast learner and observant—she'll respond well to hand signals and good structure. New people might get a reserved greeting at first, but her affectionate side doesn’t stay hidden for long. Dina hasn’t spent time with children, so a home without young kids is best. She’s available only as foster-to-adopt, and only to a home with another dog and a yard. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Dina
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Dina, being a Dutch Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix, will do best in an active home environment that provides structure, companionship, and consistent exercise. Herding and working breeds like her thrive with plenty of mental and physical stimulation.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A fenced yard is highly recommended for Dina. Her breed mix needs space to run and play, burning off their high energy in a safe and secure environment.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Dina has not been around children, so her rescue is not recommending homes with kids for her. Generally, herding breeds can live with children if socialized early, but supervision is important due to their natural herding instincts.
