About Mean Jean

Mean Jean is a large adult Tiger cat who wandered up to a volunteer’s door and made herself right at home. Don’t let her name fool you—Jean enjoys hanging around humans and will happily rub against your legs or snooze nearby. She’s not one for being picked up and definitely prefers affection on her terms. After finding group living a bit much (she can be rough with other cats in close quarters), she now resides in a spacious, multi-layer setup with other independent-minded cats and has taken to it well. Jean is comfortable with all the dogs she has met outside and shares space peacefully with several other cats as long as everyone has room to spread out. She is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on her vaccines, and uses both outdoor spots and the litter pan reliably. Jean will do best in a home, barn, or warehouse environment where she can have freedom and her own space. There is no adoption fee for Mean Jean. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
