Millie has already overcome so much in her young life. When she was first rescued, she had been abandoned with her litter of puppies and found with a collar painfully embedded in her neck that had to be surgically removed. Despite her rough start, Millie has shown incredible resilience. All of her puppies have found homes, and now it’s finally her turn. Millie has spent several months in a loving foster home where she’s been given the chance to decompress, heal, and learn that humans can be kind. She’s still a little cautious at times, so she’ll need a patient and understanding family who can continue helping her build confidence at her own pace. Millie is dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other pups. She feels secure in her kennel (it’s her safe space!) and loves backyard playtime where she can stretch her legs and just enjoy being a happy dog.
