About Maro

Maro came to the area from an overcrowded shelter, so there isn't much in the way of background. He's a four-year-old Domestic Short Hair with huge, expressive eyes and a gentle presence—a cat who starts off reserved but genuinely warms up in the right setting. If you’re patient, Maro’s affection and playfulness come right to the surface. He’s especially fond of being brushed once he feels secure, and light playtime is when he seems happiest. Maro doesn’t mix well with other cats or dogs and prefers a mellow home where he can be the star. If you want a sweet, laid-back companion who needs a little time to trust, Maro brings that soft, steady energy. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
