About Percy
Click apply to start the adoption process. Percy is a 4.5-year-old, 47-pound terrier/labrador retriever mix with a beautiful black and white short coat. She is the perfect companion for someone seeking a loyal and devoted friend. While she gets along well with other dogs in public, Percy prefers to be the only dog in her home, where she can shower her devoted human with undivided affection and attention. Percy is protective of her territory and forms a strong bond with her caretaker, showing unwavering loyalty. New people entering her home can make her nervous, but once she feels secure, she transforms into a loving angel. Percy has lived with a single mother and an autistic child, but she now prefers a child-free environment where she can have her owner's attention all to herself. She is best suited for an experienced adopter who can commit to being the alpha and maintaining the consistency she needs. Percy has received excellent foundational training, knows her commands well, and with regular support, she will thrive. An ideal home for Percy would be with a single woman seeking a one-on-one companion to share her heart and life with. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
