About Rover

Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Rover, a wonderful 2-year-old Black Labrador Retriever mix who is around 51 lbs and full of athletic energy. Rover is truly a joy to have around and will make an excellent companion for someone looking for a single, devoted dog. She thrives as the only pet in the home due to her high prey drive, so a cat-free and one-dog household is a must. Rover absolutely adores people, loves to snuggle, and is always eager for car rides. If you enjoy jogging or being active, she could be the perfect running partner—she’s athletic and playful. While she generally should be the only dog, Rover may get along with the right male dog after a slow introduction. She is currently working on her skills in a board and train setting to be her very best self. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
