AvailableThis adult male American Staffordshire Terrier is a medium-sized dog who is both spayed/neutered and house trained. He does require daily medication for a low-grade heart murmur, and he is being cared for by a rescue organization. Zeus has been professionally trained and would do well in a stable home with structure and love provided by his new caregivers.
About Zeus Courtesy Listing
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Zeus is a 9-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix currently looking for a compassionate forever home. Rescued from a challenging past, he quickly bonds with confident and caring people, becoming a loyal and loving companion who prefers to be right by your side. Despite his tough look, Zeus is a gentle soul—he’s protective, affectionate, and never happier than when he’s curled up next to someone he trusts. With the help of professional training, he responds extremely well to structure and clear leadership, making walks on and off leash a pleasant experience. This big-hearted pup has some important needs: he experiences separation anxiety, which has improved with time and stability, and he should not be kenneled as confinement is very stressful for him. Zeus requires daily medication for a low-grade heart murmur, and he has a high prey drive—lizards beware! While he can coexist with other calm, easy-going dogs, he would thrive as an only pet or with a dog that isn’t dominant. Zeus is selective about men and prefers those who exude confidence but, with the right match, his loyalty knows no bounds. He deserves a family willing to give him the patience, stability, and love he craves. Zeus’s current family deeply loves him but cannot keep him due to housing restrictions and pack dynamics. They hope to find the perfect next chapter for him—one full of comfort and security. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
