Nicholas is a young American Staffordshire Terrier who’s hitting his stride and ready for a home of his own. Snuggles are his specialty—he'll happily share your bed, head on the pillow, never far from a cuddle. Playful at heart, Nicholas loves romping with other dogs and understands boundaries, making him a solid companion if you already have a dog. Once dinner rolls around, expect a show: he tosses his food bowl when he’s hungry. Walks and car rides thrill him, and he’s learning leash skills quickly, gaining confidence with every trip out. Nicholas reveals his silly side with harmless antics, like dashing off with the end of a toilet paper roll. He picks up tricks fast and already knows how to sit. While he might seem shy out in public, at home, he’s outgoing and tunes into the energy of those around him. Nicholas gets along with other dogs, cats, and children. His ideal adopter will live locally (San Diego County, Murrieta, or Temecula) and have a secure yard or patio with fencing at least five feet high, since he’s a puppy and still needs full vaccinations.
