About Violet
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Violet’s story is one of survival and resilience. She was discovered in a Home Depot garden center in November 2024, very pregnant and hungry. Thanks to the kindness of the employees, she received food and warmth, but with a storm approaching, they worried for her unborn kittens’ safety. A compassionate volunteer from Illinois Animal Rescue learned of her situation and brought her to safety that evening, providing her a warm place to give birth. All six of Violet’s kittens made it through the winter and have since found loving homes. Now, Violet is seeking a quiet home to call her own where she can truly settle and enjoy some well-deserved peace and space. After being an exceptional mother and surviving a rough start on the streets, she is ready for a tranquil life indoors. Violet’s tail is a bit short from her outdoor experiences, but she remains a beautiful and graceful girl with much love to give. Please consider opening your home and heart to this sweet cat—she is sure to make a wonderful companion. Your new best friend is just one click away.
