Shelter life was rough on him, but since coming to Shawnee, KS, he's found some peaceāand plenty of tennis balls to hoard. He goes at his own pace, never in a rush, happiest stretched out for a sun nap or tagging along for a quiet walk. Conradās leash manners are excellent, and he gets along seamlessly with other dogs and children alike. Heās got a fondness for people and pretty much everyone who meets him, falls for his calm confidence. Conrad is living with Cushingās disease and a grade 5 heart murmur, so daily medication and regular vet care are part of his routine. He also manages a bit of arthritis, but you wouldnāt know it seeing how eagerly he trots to greet a friend or chase down a stray tennis ball. Conrad is house trained and has a deep, gentle patience that makes him easy to be around.
