About Nox
Nox was left behind at an apartment complex, where a kind neighbor made sure she was safe, fed, and got spayed, even though Nox couldn’t move inside due to pet restrictions. The neighborhood wasn’t welcoming, so Nox arrived at the HSWA Cat Adoption Center understandably wary. Initially, she avoided touch and gave the cold shoulder to other cats. She’s made progress and now actively seeks out people, but there’s still a layer of distrust—probably the result of past abuse. Nox wants to be close to people, maybe even become a regular lap companion, but she’ll need someone patient who lets her take her time. She needs a home without children and should be the only cat. Her real sweet side comes out slowly, but she’s ready for the right person to give her a safe place. Start your journey together! Apply now.
