Meet Goober, the lively husky who’s got enough charm to warm anyone's heart! This beautiful boy showed up as a stray at the Stanislaus shelter back in April of last year, and let me tell you, he wasn’t too thrilled about it! 😬 Stress had him acting aloof, but once he had the chance to stretch his legs and meet some friendly humans, his true personality began to shine! 🥳 Goober has quickly transitioned from a ‘staff only’ pup to a playful companion, all thanks to the loving shelter volunteers who believed in him. But wait, there’s more! In June, our lovable Goober found himself on the euthanasia list—twice. 😢 Can you imagine? Thankfully, he got a reprieve, and although someone sponsored his adoption fee, he still found himself waiting for a furever home. But don’t you worry, because lucky for him, the amazing folks at H3 swooped in to rescue him! 🎉 Now, Goober is ready for his next chapter—his very own forever home where he can unleash his playful spirit! His name says it all, honey! With oodles of personality, Goober is the king of husky shenanigans! 🤪 Expect to be entertained as he leaves you scratching your head in disbelief, wondering, "How did you do that, buddy?" He thinks he’s top dog, often challenging his friends (and losing, let’s be honest!), but he’s just testing those waters until he figures things out.
