About Goober

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? This beautiful boy arrived as a stray at a busy shelter last April, feeling understandably stressed and unsure of new people. With some time and space, he warmed up to volunteers, allowing pets and walking on leash without trouble. Despite his progress, he was labeled as aloof, overlooked, and twice placed on the euthanasia list, only narrowly escaping thanks to a kind sponsor. Like so many overlooked huskies in crowded shelters, he didn't do anything wrong—he just needed a second chance. Lucky for him, he was rescued and now he finally gets to search for his forever home. True to his husky nature, this boy is packed with personality and a sense of mischief, always leaving you laughing at his clever antics. He's not the toughest guy in the yard, but he likes to test boundaries and can be a bit of a rascal with other dogs until he learns better. His motivation? Treats! He's food-driven and sometimes a touch possessive over prized items, something his new family can help him work on with trust and time. Underneath his goofy and sassy exterior is a sweet side yearning for a loving, active family who can keep up with his energy. Located in Oklahoma, he is adoptable throughout the contiguous USA with transport available after approval. Born June 16, he’s a curious Gemini, believed to bring extra charm! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
