About Gibson
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Gibson! At 4 years old, this big lovable goof has been waiting at Husky Halfway House for over 646 days—that's hard to believe, because he's truly amazing. Gibson is bursting with energy, full of personality, and will always let you know his thoughts—especially when it comes to treats, toys, or getting the snacks he thinks he deserves. He thrives on attention and belly rubs, and his favorite things in the world are playtime, squeaky toys, anything that rolls, and, for reasons only a true Husky can explain, buckets. Gibson is a mix of sass and sweetness, and he values his boundaries—especially regarding his beloved possessions. He does well with other dogs as long as they respect his space and don't expect to share toys. What Gibson truly needs is a confident human who understands pack dynamics and can give him consistent structure, affection, and a bit of independence. Currently, he's hanging out in the Overweight Kennel with his buddy Max (they both have a healthy appreciation for good food!). Gibson is working hard on getting fit, hoping to show off his handsome Husky looks once again. He isn’t looking for a huge pack, just the right home where he can be himself, enjoy some structure and love—and maybe a bucket or two. Fun fact: Gibson is a Pisces! Pisces dogs are known for their deep loyalty and affectionate natures. If you’re ready for a devoted companion with just the right amount of quirk, Gibson is waiting for you. Start your journey together! Apply now.
