Garfunkel
AvailableGarfunkel is a large, adult male Husky with striking black coloring, currently in Eufaula, OK. He's been neutered and is up to date on vaccinations. Garfunkel doesn't have special needs, but he does have a distinctive personality shaped by his time facing the world solo.
About Garfunkel
Garfunkel isn’t one to rush into new friendships. It took him about seventy days to stop reminding everyone at the OKC shelter that he makes the rules—never the other way around. He prefers to keep his space and isn’t interested in sharing a home with other male dogs or people who want to crowd him. Female companions? Acceptable. Boys? Not a chance. If you step out of his sight, even for a moment, Garfunkel won’t hesitate to make his disappointment known. He’s loud about his need for company, but that doesn’t mean he wants constant attention. You have to earn your place in his world, ideally with treats (his standards are high, but his love for snacks is higher). Toys don’t interest him, but lounging and maintaining his tall, eye-catching look do. New people make him wary until he decides you’re up to his standards. Superficially shy but intensely particular, Garfunkel wants a calm home, free of “dude drama,” where he can reign without interference. Born on March 25, Garfunkel is an Aries—no surprise, considering his bold personality. Ready to meet this complicated king? Click apply to start the adoption process.
