Grim is a one-year-old male mixed breed, likely a Hound and Catahoula Leopard Dog. He arrived at the HSOV on October 21, 2025, after being found in Washington County, Ohio. With his striking black and gray coat featuring a blue merle pattern, a small white patch on his chest, and handsome tan accents on his long legs, Grim stands out in a crowd. His beautiful face is adorned with dark brown eyes, tan eyebrows, and floppy ears, adding to his charm. Initially nervous in the shelter, Grim has warmed up to his caretakers, showing a sweet personality as he seeks affection and reassurance. He weighs approximately 65 lbs and is not suited for homes with cats. Grim was originally held for a mandatory stray period and has been neutered and vaccinated as of November 17, 2025. After a brief stint in a foster home, where he got along with one dog but not another, he is back at the shelter looking for his forever home.
