Caribou
AvailableCaribou is a small, adult female domestic short hair who lives in Front Royal, VA. She’s house trained, has been spayed, and her vaccinations are up to date. Caribou is known for her petite size due to a medical condition called Megaesophagus, but she remains upbeat and affectionate.
About Caribou
Caribou is a petite, special cat who has lived with Megaesophagus since she was just six weeks old. This rare condition makes her esophagus larger than normal, which means she needs her food and meds in a particular way, but you’ll see it doesn’t dampen her spirit. Caribou has a distinctive purr—think tree frog—thanks to her unique anatomy. She stays small, even at a year old, and that gives her a youthful, kitten-like energy. She’s happiest when playing with her kitty companions, busting out her toys, or curling up for a cuddle. Caribou handles her medication with ease, just mixed right into her breakfast and dinner. She does great with other cats, dogs, and children, and her sunny personality shines through every day. Because Caribou is in foster care, you’ll need to schedule a meet and greet to spend time with her. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
