About Leela
Meet Leela, a 10-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs in at about 12 lbs and is ready to find her place with a family who will truly care for her. She tends to be a little shy initially, sometimes wanting her own space, but once Leela opens up, she's all about cuddles and affection. Most days, she's low-energy and prefers quiet moments to herself; she gets along with other dogs just fine but mostly does her own thing around them. Leela really comes to life at mealtimes, dancing and chattering with anticipation, and she's reliably potty trained. She enjoys being close to her people, loves walks outside, and perks up when she can nap on a soft pillow. Trust takes her a little while, but when she gives it, you'll see both her loving and sassy sides. After being let down more than once, Leela is looking for a home where she’ll always be a cherished part of the family, with plenty of attention and care. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
