He spent some tough days on the streets after being left on his own, so trust comes slowly. Brax does best meeting folks several times before he feels comfortable—especially men, though he’s shown he can bond with the right person. In the home, he’ll need a separate, secure room to call his own when guests visit. High-energy and wiggly, Brax thrives with plenty of yard time, playful walks, and water games. He eats up attention—especially when you use a soft baby voice—but isn’t big on cuddling. As for other dogs, he can make friends with a slow introduction but needs to be fed separately because he guards his food. Brax shouldn’t share his space with cats or kids because of his energy and selectiveness. He’s vaccinated and neutered, and adoption includes a free behavior consult to help him settle in.
