About Heidi
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Miss Heidi! She is around 2 years old and believed to be a Great Pyrenees mix, having come in as a stray with her sister Clementine. Since Heidi’s early experiences are unknown, she tends to be on the shy side, but she responds positively to kindness and patience, making progress as she finds her footing in new environments. Heidi is especially affectionate once she warms up, delighting her friends with sweet hugs and her signature "singing". She does well on a leash, is practicing her basic commands, and has a laid-back temperament. Due to her size and her reserved nature, Heidi will need an adult-only home without small children to help build her confidence at her own pace. Her adoption includes up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, flea and ear mite treatments, spaying, additional veterinary care while in the shelter, and a thorough medical checkup so she’s ready for her new life. This breed typically benefits from a large, securely fenced yard or regular access to open spaces. While they enjoy relaxing indoors, they need room to roam and stretch their legs each day.
