About Scout
Scout is a sweet older calico with a history that’s left her cautious but still hopeful for a loving home. After losing her family and nearly losing her life, Scout is lucky to have found safety, but she’s still on shaky ground emotionally. She’ll need a patient, gentle adopter who understands that trust takes time—Scout’s heart is in recovery mode, and small acts of kindness will go a long way. She gets along best with people who can offer softness and quiet, as the chaos of her past has made her wary. Scout is spayed and her vaccinations are current, so she’s medically ready for her next chapter. She’s had dental work and is now missing several teeth, so she enjoys a diet of tasty wet food—which happens to be her favorite part of the day. While bringing home all of Scout’s former housemates isn’t a must, giving her a familiar companion could help her adjust more smoothly. If you want to make a difference in the life of a cat who just needs a little extra care, Scout could be the one waiting to warm your windowsill. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
