About Scooter
Scooter and his sister Skeeter are a bonded pair looking for a quiet place to finally settle in. They were raised by a feral mother, so they are shy at first—and they’ll need a patient, understanding adopter to help them come out of their shells. Scooter doesn’t like to be picked up, but he’ll sit close and happily wait for treats, especially if his sister is nearby. He’s a huge fan of his kitty water fountain and loves vertical spaces like cat trees or shelves, so having those in the home is a must. Skeeter is cautious but has been making steady progress in her foster home; she’ll take treats while being gently petted and loves tunnels and toys when she feels safe. Both are treat-motivated and respond best to gentle routines and quiet spaces. Scooter and Skeeter must be adopted together. A calm, indoor-only home without young children is required, as quick movements and loud sounds stress them. They get along with other cats, but dogs are not a good match. With time and patience, these siblings will reward you with slow but deeply loyal companionship. Ready to offer them the gentle life they've been waiting for? Your new best friends are in Ogden, UT. Adoption offered through Humane Society of Northern Utah. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
