About Rocket
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Rocket is a 4 year and 8 months old Red Point Siamese who has shown incredible resilience. After coming to the shelter as an injured stray, Rocket received vital treatment for multiple puncture wounds caused by another animal. Shelter staff discovered that Rocket was already neutered and microchipped, with a backstory that includes being entrusted to friends while his military owner served overseas. Unfortunately, Rocket ended up fending for himself outdoors and is now seeking a loving forever home. Rocket is an affectionate, playful, mischievous, and vocal companion, but he strongly prefers to be an only cat—he gets extremely upset even at the sight of his own reflection. He will need a special adopter who can appreciate his unique personality and provide the attentive, understanding environment he craves. Rocket’s adoption fee includes a full vetting package: he’s neutered, current on vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed, protected from fleas, and microchipped for extra peace of mind. Fun fact: with a birthday of April 4, Rocket is an Aries—known for being courageous and full of lively energy! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
