Meet Beau! He came to us as an owner surrender. :( He just celebrated his 4th birthday 02/14/2021. He is VERY smart and can be very strong! He has been working with our trainer and has responded very well! He could of course use a bit more of puppy training as he was never taken. All dogs can use a bit of training and it doesn't have to be an expensive trainer! Basic training is the key! Builds confidence with the pup and the owners! From the words of one of our volunteers "Beau is super smart, knows sit/shake/down. Loves to cuddle. Would be an amazing loyal companion". He is house and crate trained! He loves to play in the water too! Might be a great pup to take to the lake! He will of course require a meet and greet with all other animals (and people/children) in an approved household.
