About Ryker
Meet Ryker! Ryker joined the shelter in spring 2024, just out of puppyhood, and grew up in a place that was anything but peaceful. Life in the kennels left him bursting with energy and unsure how to channel it, putting him at risk when space got tight. He moved on when the rescue split from its old shelter and felt much luckier for it—no way he was going to get left behind. Since landing in foster care, Ryker’s really come into his own. He loves a good stretch on the couch as much as he loves a wild, playful romp when the mood strikes. While he picked up some unruly habits from his tough start, he’s been sharpening up with a trainer and shows a real drive to figure things out. He’s crate trained, walks well on a leash, and gets along with other dogs who appreciate his enthusiasm. Ryker wants to be the star of the room and has plenty of love left for the right person to share it with. If you’re ready to help Ryker keep up the good work, he’s ready to meet you. Fun fact: Ryker is a Taurus, so expect a steady and loyal companion. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
