About Zeus
Zeus has weathered far more than most dogs, and it shows in his careful, sensitive nature. When he feels safe, a deeply loyal, loving spirit emerges. He’s had a rough start—including past abuse—which makes him cautious and slow to trust in new situations. Despite that, Zeus displays a surprising eagerness to learn, as seen during his two-week program at Paws & Play. With structure and clear expectations, he picks up new skills quickly. He’s at his best around women, in quiet homes with steady routines where he can slowly get comfortable. Sudden movements, loud noises, and big changes unsettle him; Zeus needs to be introduced to new things with patience. Once he bonds, his devotion is unmatched. Zeus prefers a home without other cats and would do best with adults, especially women, who can respect his boundaries. He likes meeting dogs through slow, careful introductions. Favorite activities include chest scratches, car rides, and solving food puzzles. Zeus is ready for a home where patience and routine are part of daily life. Watching him gain confidence will be its own reward. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
