About Razor

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Razor, a striking large black and white neutered male domestic long hair who is about 9 years old. Razor came into care in very rough shape, suffering from severe flea allergies that left his skin raw and sensitive. Because of his history, he is not fond of being petted and will let you know when he's had enough—after a couple of head scratches, he'll swat or nip, preferring his personal space. Razor thrives in a calm, quiet home where he can be left alone and shouldn't be placed in a household with children. He does best as a companion for someone who appreciates an independent cat and understands his need for hands-off affection. Annual grooming, such as a shave, helps keep his long coat manageable in his senior years, and consistent flea prevention, like NexGard Plus, is crucial to avoid flare-ups. While Razor is not a lap cat, he's an easy keeper and gets along well with other cats, but not with dogs. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
