Hallie didn’t arrive at the Humane Society with a history of being cherished, loved, or even noticed by her uncaring human family. Hallie has lived a lot of lifetimes in her short 1 ½ year existence on this planet. She hasn’t been physically abused but wasn’t cherished for her appreciative smiles and her desire to be close. After her bandana was affectionately attached, Hallie stepped away and checked out the unknown of the Humane Society bark park. As the human walked away to give her a chance to become more comfortable, Hallie quietly and surreptitiously crept up behind and gave the human’s hand the almost imperceptible touch of an “I am here with you” welcome. At the end of the session, Hallie rolled over on her back and gave herself a classic wiggleable back scratch as she welcomed an easy-going “my tummy is yours for a moment” touchable moment. Hallie has soft, expressive eyes that share her desire to be, above all, a friendly, accepting, and thankful canine who is ready to brings smiles to everyone in her life. Hallie’s spirit is definitely a lover, not a hunter. Join her in a huggable, just wants to be close to you for a lifelong, best friend adventure.
