I am a handsome young pup. My brindle coat with white markings on my face, chest, and feet are the classic precursor for people to "oooh" and "aah." I have a very sweet face to boot, so I will win hearts over in record time! Some police officers found me running around in DC with no map and directions so they took me to their station and let me hang out with them, but sadly there was no option I could move in permanently, so I came here for the time being and hope to land a new "furever" home soon. I may be a bit bashful at first with new people, but give me some time and have some patience, and I'll come around very quickly. Having some yummy treats will certainly expedite the process! When I met another pup here, it was similar. I was a bit cautious at first, but then warmed up to her and we played. Maybe that's just my MO --careful and slow at first, and then let's have fun! A volunteer recently spent time with me, and they shared, " This smart boy is a big gangly puppy. He likes to chase things- balls, sticks, frisbees- and knows 'sit' and 'spin' so far."
