Sawyer has had a rough startâhe recently tested positive for Lyme disease, but donât worry, heâs already been treated is feeling his best! ? Despite his shyness, he has the kindest soul and just needs someone who will give him the time and love to truly shine. Sawyer is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives. Sawyerâs Ideal Home: - Needs a calm, patient environment to help him build confidence - Would thrive with an adopter or foster who can take it slow and provide gentle encouragement - Must be leash-walked or supervised in a fenced yard to ensure his safety - Best suited for someone who understands nervous dogs and can offer reassurance and stability Though nervous, Sawyerâs gentle soul shines through. Simply visit: https://www.hoovesandpaws.org/shelterluv.html, click on the petâs photo to view their full bio, then click âApply for Adoptionâ to get started. Please give us a few days to review your application. If approved, youâll receive an email from adoptions@hoovesandpaws.org to schedule a meet and greet (including any necessary dog-to-dog introductions).
