About Napoleon
If you want a gentle, affectionate companion with a panther look, Napoleon is waiting for you. This 8-year-old, senior domestic long hair was transferred to our care in Maine in the summer of 2024 because of his diabetes, which is now well managed on a low-carb, canned food diet and daily insulin. He eats Fancy Feast Classic Pate and receives twice-daily insulin shots. Any adopter will need a strong relationship with a veterinarian to help ensure Napoleon keeps thriving. Expect support from our medical team: you'll be trained in diabetic cat care, sent home with a glucometer, insulin, and some food to start you off right. Because Napoleon needs proper prep at adoption, you can't take him home the same day you meet him. Napoleon gets along with other cats and shows a laid-back, loving nature. He'd fit well in a calm home that appreciates an affectionate, relaxed cat. He can be found in Room 4, waiting for someone to make him part of their family. Born August 13, Napoleon is a Leo—so you can count on big-hearted devotion mixed with confidence. Your new best friend is just one click away.
