About Sapphire
Meet Sapphire, a sensitive cat who needs a patient person willing to let her settle in at her own pace. As soon as she feels secure, her loyal and sweet personality comes through—she turns into a loving, sassy, and surprisingly clever companion. Her favorite activities include watching birds and squirrels, cozying up for head rubs, and playing with toys. Sapphire is independent enough to keep herself entertained while you’re out but becomes affectionate when her favorite people are around, always nearby and ready for cuddles or a careful watch over the house. Abandoned as a young kitten near a feral colony, Sapphire had some tough introductions to other animals and would thrive as an only pet. She might get along with a male cat if the match is right. Her ideal environment is a calm household with cat-savvy people ages 14 and up who understand her need for security and patience. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, free of fleas and worms, and house trained. Sapphire is currently in Schertz, TX, and is a Libra—expect a social but independent streak.
