About Duchess

Click apply to start the adoption process. Duchess was rescued from a challenging situation in a high-intake shelter where her eyes were in extremely poor condition due to untreated chronic dry eye, leading to corneal damage and infection. Thanks to veterinary care, Duchess has regained some vision and has adapted well to her daily eye medication routine, accepting drops and cleanings with gentle cooperation. Ongoing eye care will be essential for her continued comfort and sight. Once a shy and withdrawn girl, Duchess has blossomed in her foster home, rediscovering her playful and devoted Doberman spirit. She enthusiastically plays with other dogs, loves running in the yard, and is happiest when showered with attention by her humans. House trained and comfortable with doggie doors, she waits patiently when left home alone or with canine companions—but most of all, she loves being by her person’s side. Duchess is a wonderful travel pal and shines as a caring, loyal breed ambassador. She is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines, as well as flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Fun fact: Her birthday is April 1, making her an Aries—the perfect sign for an adventurous and affectionate soul like Duchess. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
