About Bert & Ernie
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet the dynamic duo: Bert and Ernie! These adorable 4- and 5-year-old, 15-pound Chihuahua mixes are just beginning a heartwarming journey of discovery. Until recently, these little gentlemen spent their whole lives outdoors, missing out on the simple comforts many dogs know—like a cozy bed, gentle leash walks, and routine vet checkups. Still, what shines brightest is their gentle spirit and willingness to trust. At first, both Bert and Ernie may be timid, much like shy butterflies just starting to spread their wings. With a little patience and affection, their true, affectionate personalities blossom. They’re learning how to enjoy leash walks and, although not experts yet, they improve a little more each day. The joy these two feel as they discover the comfort of kennel beds is truly heartwarming. Bert finds extra courage with Ernie by his side, and together they discover the happiness that comes from loving neck scritches and gentle attention from people. With steady love, a consistent routine, and patience, Bert and Ernie will grow into the remarkable companions they are meant to be. Adopting Bert and Ernie means welcoming twice the love into your home. For an adoption fee of $400, you gain two delightful friends, with their adoption including spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a wellness visit at the Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. If you feel a pull toward these sweethearts, you can schedule a meeting after applying through the Buddy App. Give Bert and Ernie the chance they’ve always dreamed of—let their new chapter begin with you!
