Meet Mittens, a wonderful gray and white Persian, rescued from Kuwait. This lovely girl suffered abuse and neglect, and lost one of her eyes because of being beaten and kicked. Why anyone would think it’s ok to abuse an animal in this way is unfashionable. But Mittens has persevered. She is loving and friendly, and has learned to trust people again. Mittens met Figaro here in the US, and they quickly became best friends. They play together, groom each other’s faces after every meal, and are very attached to each other.
