At just over three years old, he is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, house trained, and lives with special needs due to being FELV positive. Rocket's happy disposition and bonded relationship with his sibling make him truly special.
About Rocket
Rocket and his sister Mantis make quite the pair—playful, silly, and full of affection for each other. They've grown up together and have spent over a year and a half in foster care, blossoming from a tough beginning into confident, loving adult cats. Their favorite hobbies are chasing each other around the house, exploring, and snuggling up when the day is done. The two are deeply bonded and cannot be separated—they're happiest side by side. Rocket is Feline Leukemia Virus positive (FELV+), so he’ll need a home with no cats or only cats that are also FELV+. The virus affects his immune system, but it hasn’t slowed him down one bit—he is still just as fun, energetic, and affectionate as ever. People and other types of pets are not at risk, so his special status mostly just means his adopter will need to be mindful about his health and routine vet care. With the right support, Rocket can enjoy a full, playful life, and he brings pure joy to those he trusts.
