About Leshy

Leshy, named after the Slavic forest protector, showed up in rough shape but never lost his gentle spirit. Found with badly matted hair, some wounds, and a tough respiratory infection, Leshy has come a long way. He’s now neutered, recovered, and sporting a growing lion cut look. Leshy did test positive for FIV (not FELV), so he’ll do best with an adopter who’s familiar with FIV or willing to learn. At about seven years old, he’ll need someone who doesn’t mind keeping a caring eye out for the unique needs older cats have. Right now, Leshy is living indoors, embracing warmth and comfort, and loving every moment of attention and affection. He purrs nonstop, soaks up head pets, and always looks for a willing lap to curl up on. Leshy gets along well with other cats in his foster home. He’s a sweetheart with a soft spot for cuddles and deserves a forever home where he can keep thriving. Your new best friend is just one click away.
