Spinach was in a high-intake shelter in Texas when the area was ravaged by flood waters. Dogs already in shelters had to be moved out to accommodate those animals who were displaced by the floods but had families waiting for them. This sweet girl is shy at first and could use some confidence building, but her kind nature shines through once she feels safe. She really enjoys being around people, especially when she’s given time to get used to a person. She’s fantastic on leash walks, calmly trotting beside her human, and she feels more secure when others aren’t walking behind her.
