Lester has been with Hearts United for Animals since May 23, 2020, after being rescued from a high intake shelter in Texas. It’s hard to understand why this lovely boy hasn’t found his forever home yet. He’s a loving, smart, and playful dog who truly adores humans. When his favorite volunteers arrive, his joy is palpable; he greets them with boundless excitement. Lester excels at hugging but isn’t the jumpy type. He enjoys walks on a leash and loves to roam free in the big yards, checking in on his humans along the way. After exploring, he patiently sits, ready for the next adventure. Lester prefers spending time with people over other dogs and shows immense gratitude when his family members return home. He’s a leaner and a lover who will bring happiness to the right family. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
