About Chelsea
Chelsea spent her early days as a stray before a generous family took her in, along with her puppy. Now that her pup has found a home, it's Chelsea's turn. She's a roughly 2-year-old, medium-sized pit bull terrier mix with a brindle and cream coat. Spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, Chelsea is living in foster care in Spring, TX and ready to meet prospective adopters in person. She’s the definition of a devoted companion—loyal, nurturing, and gentle, with protective instincts that shine brightest once she trusts her person. Chelsea is most comfortable with a gentle introduction to new dogs; she’s currently thriving among four in her foster home and, after a slow start, plays gently and enthusiastically. She doesn’t get along with cats, but is great with older kids who understand her need for patience and boundaries. Indoors, Chelsea is fully house trained and crate trained, can free roam without trouble, and keeps calm even when sharing mealtimes (just not the food bowl). Chelsea loves short walks, lazy play in the yard, and snuggling close on the couch. With newcomers, she may be cautious and prefers her crate if strangers arrive. She loves car rides, is food motivated, and knows several basic commands. Her playful side comes out in bursts—watch for those flattened ears while she sprints across the yard. Chelsea’s past has left her careful, but it’s only made her more eager to bond deeply with the right, patient adopter. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, nurturing dog who bonds hard, Chelsea is truly one of a kind. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
