Cove’s awful days of breeding are behind her, and she is finally beginning to heal from her trauma. She is a very sweet girl who gets happy to see familiar people, and she loves playing with the other small dogs. She has progressed from shying away from us in terror to approaching us daintily, occasionally enjoying some ear and chin scratches. Much of this teasing originated from fear, but now Cove is playing coy. She loves visiting the sunporch with all of her friends–there are some great treats in there that make it double the fun. We think that in her home, Cove’s mischievous nature will shine. A canine sibling will greatly help her in her adjustment. Visit Cove at www.hua.org!
