About Remmi
Remmi is about 18 months old as of October 2022 and has spent half his life in the shelter. He survived brutal abuse—shot multiple times, duct-taped, abandoned, and left injured—yet somehow still actively seeks out human companionship. He loves people, craves affection, and is happiest pretending to be a lap dog. Remmi gets along with other dogs, even ignoring dominant or assertive types, and remains gentle through it all. He is strong, so he needs someone accustomed to handling powerful dogs, but his temperament is loyal and incredibly loving. He’s smart, bonds deeply with people, rides well in the car, and handles leashed walks with ease. Remmi nearly always waited to relieve himself, even when kenneled, so he’s likely house trained or close. This dog is emotionally resilient and eager for a stable family. His joy and personality are easy to spot—he’s demonstrative, full of love, and will be your ‘ride or die’ companion. Remmi truly deserves a soft landing after what he’s endured.
