About Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is a small, white and gray cat with distinctive extra toes, a classic Hemingway polydactyl look. His eyes are scarred, so his vision isn’t perfect. He’s happiest when he’s being petted, but he gets startled easily—so it helps to talk to him before reaching out. He might growl if surprised, but he relaxes quickly once he knows you’re near and means no harm. Like many cats, he has a soft spot for Churu treats. Puerto Rico is about 7 years old and takes comfort in gentle, predictable routines. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

Extra-Toes Cats like Puerto Rico are content with indoor living and don't require access to outdoor space, particularly if their vision is limited. If allowed supervised outdoor time, they should be in a secure area.
