Kira is our longest current resident. Kira was brought to us as a stray on March 5th, 2024. She was extremely shut down and very scared to be here. She will require slow introductions as it takes her a bit to realize that you are a safe person. She has come around with the staff and is now starting to get the zoomies, lots of tail wags, and kisses. Kira is very dog selective, but we were successfully able to introduce her to another dog. They played very well together. We believe Kira could come around to other dogs in time, though she will likely require multiple meet and greets. She gets along with the cats!
