She landed at the rescue in rough shape after spending three cold nights tied up in a stroller in the open desert near Palmdale. Her early days were tough, dealing with gunky eyes, mange, and a patchy coat, but consistent care and good food turned things around. Zina now sports a shiny, healthy coat and brings a contagious energy with her everywhere she goes. Playful and curious, Zina finds joy in exploring her surroundings and being involved in whatever her humans are doing. She’s always ready for a good cuddle or a back scratch, and she’ll be happiest as the only dog in the home—she doesn’t get along with other dogs, but she’s surprisingly great with cats.
